Design Group is recruiting for an Accountant based near Berwick, PA. This position has work from home flexibility but must be onsite in Berwick at least 2-3 per month.

WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Reconciliation, review, and preparation of financial statement schedules for assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries to record various amortizations.
• Prepare budget and reforecast schedules as assigned.
• Maintaining fixed asset system, cash reporting and product development reporting.
• Prepare Sales and Use and Property Tax reports.
• Participate in the month end financial close.
• Assist in other projects as required.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred, or Business with emphasis in Accounting.
• 2 years’ experience working as an Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
• Must have experience with general ledger analysis.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products with advanced level Excel knowledge.
